Many people have a hard time with the fact that real love even exist. In a world that has been so deceived this should be no surprise. The faith that most people have is only in that which one can see, touch, or their feelings so the reality of this is that these things all fade away. There is a core in each one of us that is so much deeper and so much more real that surpasses all these physical things we have been taught to live by! How do we witness such things you might ask?
Matthew 26:36
36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
Mark 1:35
35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.
Luke 5:16
16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
Luke 11:1
1 It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.”
These are just a few examples of how my Lord Jesus would go to a secluded place to pray to the Father. Inside of these moments it was just Jesus and the Father! We see and hear the miracles of Christ through the witnesses we have here in the Gospel. What most fail to realize is the order in which Jesus taught us all to approach the will of Yahweh (God)! In the very beginning of it all Jesus states the importance of prayer!
Matthew 6:1-15
1 “Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.
2 “So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
3 “But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4 so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
5 “When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
6 “But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
7 “And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.
8 “So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
9 “Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 ‘Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 ‘Give us this day our daily bread.
12 ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’
14 “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 “But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Before this Jesus was teaching and proclaiming that the true Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. As Jesus would spend each day in private prayer with the Father, Jesus would then go do what it was He was told to do! Here in the above text we see that people were starting to gather so as to hear the words of Jesus. Jesus was witnessing to them of what it was the Father was truly wanting from all mankind. You see in the very first verse of the above text that we should go into private with our prayers correct? Jesus then gives us outline of how we can approach the Father to clear the air but as you read on in the Gospel accounts the details get more infused if one has ears to hear! Do you believe Jesus would have been able to go to the cross if he lived his life by his physical feelings?
What happens to people who get mad? Depending on the situation it can be violent correct? We saw an example of how Jesus handled his anger when he knocks over the vendors tables in the Temple of God!
Matthew 21:12
12 And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all those who were buying and selling in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who were selling doves.
This is a healthy anger expressed into the physical world we can see! I wonder what Jesus would do if he was here seeing what some places do inside there so called house of worship these days? Vendors and selling seats is normal to some of these places now! The truth is that if Jesus would had walked not by faith and had walked by sight then he would had probably punched people in the face. Think about how we have handled anger in our lives? How many days in your life have you woke up and entered prayer like Jesus did? I know I have failed miserably at this such thing. I know that for me I have lived 38 of my 40 years walking by sight and not by faith. It wasn’t until I truly chose to give all my cares to the Father and His son Jesus that I was able to enter the throne room truly letting go of this world. This allows me to not only ask boldly what the will of the Father is for my life, but what is the will that He may have me do for Him in this day I am in! When all the chaos and noise of this evil world is turned off I can truly have ears to hear my Father. The one thing I know is always guaranteed with the Father is that He wants me to allow Him to radiate His love and understanding to those around me just like Jesus did. Trust me this is not easy if you walk by sight! It is though if I walk by Faith! I have witnessed the way that in my patience with people it allows God to do His work in them. I am called to love them the way Jesus showed us his love for the world. Where did Jesus’s love come from? In this witnessing Jesus did he never allowed the evil to dictate how he reacted, he allowed the Holy Spirt from within him to do all the guiding. To turn tables in the house of the living God was very appropriate seeing how this was supposed to be the Holiest place on earth but yet it was truly being mocked! Jesus knew that his Father is never mocked!
Galatians 6:1-7
1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
5 For each one will bear his own load.
6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Many who attend the modern day churches have been taught to nitpick one’s physical actions all the while many times things such as smoking, or eating are not the issue they should be focusing on. If Jesus was worried about such things don’t you think he would had stopped the disciples from indulging in wine? Why did Jesus need to make more wine at the wedding? Yes we know certain things can be unhealthy for the flesh but Jesus was more concerned about that which is an abomination or trespass against the Father.
Matthew 15:11
11 “It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
Murder never starts in the action of the person, it starts in the heart! After physical anger is bottled up in a person and they have meditated over what evil act they would do to a person then from out of the mouth words will proceed. This in time will result in murder if this is not addressed from a spiritual stand point. Your love for a person is the same way most times because we will meditate on the things that will either affect our love in a positive way or negative way depending on each relationships situation. Of course naturally the love a man meditates on for a woman will be totally different than the love he meditates on for his mother. You get the point I hope!
Now when we who take the witness of Jesus Christ serious, we understand that because of him teaching us how to embrace time with the Father we can boldly do this through Christ! Christ spent his time teaching the people the real will of the Father through the actions Christ did and the words that Jesus said! Then through Jesus’s Faith in the Father Jesus went to the cross and destroyed the barrier we know as death! Death means “separation” in which we were all separated from the Father due to our broken nature of sin. Now Jesus sits as the only mediator between the Father and all mankind that has ever set foot on this earth.
Job 33:23
23 “If there is an angel as mediator for him,
One out of a thousand,
To remind a man what is right for him,
Galatians 3:20
20 Now a mediator is not for one party only; whereas God is only one.
1 Timothy 2:5
5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
Prior to the Christ it was only by means of Yahweh (God) sending his angels to mankind that a person would have access to the Father of all creation. Now because of Jesus we have no need of the angels because even the angels are subjected to Christ for the time being. The day will come when even Jesus is again subjected to the Father!
1 Corinthians 15:22-28
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming,
24 then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, “All things are put in subjection,” it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.
28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.
The one who puts their trust in Jesus can go straight to the Father and pray for what one wants or needs! This doesn’t mean we pray for the things of this world, we pray for the things that are of Heaven. We ask for the LORD God to bring us hearts prepared for this Gospel that Jesus the mediator brought the world. We ask that we be led with a humble heart so that we can see through the annoying person that is on the outside of a person. When we do such things this allows us to see through the annoying person into their pain and guilt that is causing the outward cry for attention to begin with! I witness this truth daily now as my heart is being sanctified for the work the Father wants to do in me! I witness this in men that the Father has put in my life so that I can trust His will and be patient with these men as not only do I see the Father change them from the inside out, I get to witness the things change that come out of these men. What was once all cussing and scared confusion turns into love and understanding. This process will never end with us down here as it can only begin on earth. I am a living witness to the truth that if one truly trusts Jesus the Christ and then seeks the things in which Jesus taught the world to seek then you will witness the physical manifestation of ones actions be transformed by the renewing of their hearts and minds! This is what scares the living crap out of satan because this means that “THE DEVIL AIN”T GOT NO HOLD ON ME”! The evil in this world has never truly had any real power, it only has the power that people agree with. In the past 100+ years the evil has gotten even more deceptive so that we will get in agreement without even being aware that we are. It shows now more than ever for those who have ears to hear! Why did Jesus always use the term “ears to hear” and leave out the “eyes to see” when talking to people?
Isaiah 48:8
8 “You have not heard, you have not known.
Even from long ago your ear has not been open,
Because I knew that you would deal very treacherously;
And you have been called a rebel from birth.
Jeremiah 5:21
21 ‘Now hear this, O foolish and senseless people,
Who have eyes but do not see;
Who have ears but do not hear.
Jesus knew that if people were not going to take the time to first listen to his teaching and attempt to take his advice, then they would never see in the first place! The seeing is a given after we first take the time to listen to the Father! May Yahweh Bless you all and His Christ guide your hearts in the trials coming!
